Interview #23: Madison Affair

First Interview to come for my big X-Mas Special!
Madison Affair are a band, that kinda blows everything away.
Coming from Germany's capital and sounding as big as stuff from the United States.
These guys bring together Metalcore, Post Hardcore and Dubstep in a really unique way. Recently they released their final Debut entitled "Teenage Time" which is one of my favorite releases of 2011.
Massive and solid sounding band!

Seriously, check out Madison Affair!

Tell us about you, where are you guys from and what brought you guys together?
We're all from Berlin and we got to know each other through friends and other bands.

During the years, your sound grew bigger and better, how would you describe your sound and do you think it's the most final sound from you guys?
Yeah our style changed a lot since we started the band, but thats the way its supposed to be we guess.
and yes we think we're on a point where our style is kinda mature but we will always do our best to keep it developing!

Are there bands that influenced your sound?
We all listen to recent records that come out in the US, but we're also in a lot of other styles. Some bands that influenced us are woe is me, Attack Attack, Of Mice and Men, The Devil Wears Prada, ADTR and much more!

What does your band name mean?
It has no deeper meaning. Its just like Madison is a girl that lives in our society and the affair is her connection to the world.

Since it's kinda typical to categorize music, which genre(s) defines your band the most, though stereotyping is crap?
Don't know, something between Post-Hardcore, Breakstep and Autocore

Have you known what kind of music you want to play, before starting the band?
Not really, but we liked the same bands. So it was easy since the first jam.

What do you want to say with your music? Is there a message to the listeners?
Check it out, give us a chance, be aware of everything that happens

 What are your favorite bands?
Woe is me, Motionless In White, Of Mice & Men, ADTR, This Or The Apocalypse, Periphery, Substructure, Protest the Hero, and soooo much more…

Where do you get your inspirations, beside to other bands, especially for the lyrics?
When you watch for what is going on on this planet, you gotta have a lot to say.

What are your interests beside the band? Do you guys just do the band or do you work/go to school/study?
The band is a like a full time job for all of us now. Some of us are working beside the band.

What things are coming up? News about new releases, new Merch, line up changes?
You`ll see Were looking forward to 2012

Do you guys have played in other bands before?
Yes we all had other bands before but MA is the first we all take very serious.

Are there any bands you would like to see on this page in future? Are there bands you would recommend for taking a listen?
Listen to: Periphery, Motionless In White, Born Of Osiris

What are your favorite places to play shows at? And where and what was your sickest show?
If the crowd is alright, it doesn`t matter what club you play!

Which bands would you like to tour with and how would your favorite tour look like?
VansWarped – Tour with Asking Alexandria

Any messages left to fans, friends or family?
We want to thank all the people that supported us since MA was founded. It was a great start 2011 with our new constellation!

Review:

Across The Obsession only do what they want!
These guys have fun in what they're doing and they are showing this at their best, at their Debut Album
entitled "We See What We Want"!
Hailing from the Country of the most surprising bands, these young Russians really created everything new and brought the heavy scene to a new era!

Starting as a instrumental band in lack of a singer, just to show what is possible as a band with incomplete line up. Yet a singer, wasn't missed on the old records, now they just perfected what they were working at. Also they're giving out the instrumental version of the album, for those who like to enjoy the musical side of them.

We See What We Want contains 12 captive songs of emotion and creativity.
Looking back to their old instrumental EP "The Road", these guys just changed the instrumental work a little bit, to come together with the vocals.
Melodic and technical guitar licks all over the songs. Progressions in vein of BTBAM and showing a softer side of putting breakdowns into the rhythm guitar, these are only some words to describe the sound of them.
The vocals are neither screamed, nor shouted or growled. They sing - in their own way. Emotive, yet angerfilled yelling could explain it a little.
All in all, this Album must be heard, to say you like it or not!
A catchy band and the most original sound/music i've ever heard. One of the most talented and hard working bands i know. Get them bigger and show some love at Facebook, Myspace or anywhere else!

Promotion #22: Tell Me A Fairytale

Album: I'll Never Be A King
Year: 2011
Origin: Russia
Genre: Post-Hardcore/Metalcore

Tracklist:
1. Empire
2. My Name Is Hope

>> Download <<

Tell Me A Fairytale is a really new and young band, hailing from Russia.
They don't play the typical kind of Russian Metalcore/Russian Modern Metal.
These guys are influenced with a lot of fresh bands in the Post-Hardcore section.
Pretty cool stuff in my opinion.
Download 2 of their songs for free. I guess this is only the Promo stuff of their debut full length EP/album.
But though it's enjoyable!
Give these guys a shot and get into them!
Also spread the word as Aids!!

Preview #9: Sea Smile

Album: TBA
Artist: Sea Smile
Year: 2011
Origin: São Paulo/Brazil
Genre: Metalcore/Post-Hardcore

My friends Sea Smile, from Brazil finally announced to enter the studios, to record their first CD.
On their Facebook, they posted this:

"Sea Smile for us in the beginning, was just a simple project, without any hope. Today it has become great in our eyes and began to be a very important priority in our lives, bringing us the fun and joy of doing what we love is obviously music. Of course, with our effort and desire to be better each day, this "joke" became serious, with responsibilities and proportions'd find that they could never be achieved. Well, as everyone knows, our first EP, "Nossos Planos", was released on February 18, 2011, and with only seven months of EP, we are ready to enter the second time in the studio to record our first CD. Yeeeesss; a CD. What led us to this decision was a good public acceptance of our EP, which earned good reviews and a large mass of fans that follow the band. Regardless of friendship, people who care about our sound and come with the band, helping here and there, and listening every day, and with all the affection, the least we can do is thank you and do something much better. The other reason is: We love our music, it was a great job producing these six songs, but are not yet on a level of professional quality. Of course, no excuse, but this was the first time four of us went into a studio recording of this size (only Eric had already participated in other bands), then thought it was already full. Now connoisseurs, studies, research and a lot of training, we know what we really want this for our next work, focusing on quality and professionalism. We are not trying to be more than anyone but we want to overcome our increasing expectations, and that for now only depends on us, but we need everyone's help who really enjoy the band, helping in the dissemination and display of the band for the impact is greater. Day 24 September 2011 will begin recording our CD (yet unnamed) that will feature nine songs + 1 bonus track and with this CD, will lead automatically complete our material: Merch, photos promos, new layouts, wallpaper and if everything goes well, physical CDs. We do not have a date for the launch, because only when we feel it provides: "This is our evolution that everyone needs to see." On launch day we will announce another new development, which for us will be another step of this journey and we are sure of who you really expect all this, you will enjoy the novelty. Let all know by means of updates on youtube, so they can monitor this process. We apologize for at this moment no more than words, but soon it becomes something concrete, for those who believe without seeing, both because a tree does not spring from nothing, without first being a small seed. Sorry if qlqr error Portuguese or typing. Believe it, because you do not lose by waiting! "WE ARE THE SEA SMILE"

Erick Henrique, Leonardo, Emerson, Eric."

So be fucking stoked as i am!

Review #21: A Vital Message - Distances [EP]

 Album: Distances [EP]
Year: 2011
Origin: Florida/USA
Genre: Metalcore/Post-Hardcore
For fans of: Legacy, August Burns Red, Woe Is Me, Memphis May Fire

Tracklist:
1. The Blind
2. 2009
3. Who You Are
4. It's Legal, If It's On Camera

>> Download <<

Review:
Kickstarter band straight into the skies!
As there are nearly too many bands around, playing Metalcore or Post-Hardcore, many bands sound similar or even same. A Vital Message are a band that truly sound different.
They worked pretty hard on this first EP.
An original sound is definitely there, also pretty catchy riffing.
Starting on the vocals, these guys bring out a clean voice that is really memorizing.
Especially the chorus part in the third song entitled "Who You Are".
The guitar work is pretty technical, yet they kept it sounding like simple riffing.
Typical chord strums and breakdowns keep the rhythm through all tracks. Sophisticating short sweeps and other tricky guitar parts in the songs, make this short yet effective EP a total earcatcher.
Melodies during choruses and breakdowns as usual for the genre bring some variety also.

My conclusion, definitely worth at least being checked out. If you are into that genre, you will totally dig this stuff! For a newcomer bands these guys have put a lot of time into this and the result can really be shown to the people out there! Such a great effort. Be nice and check these guys out and show some love!
I recommend checking out their song "Who You Are", because it's addictive! At my first listen to the chorus i got stoked, whats behind all their other songs. I really like these guys and finally there is another band sounding different, but also leaning to the scene, so everyone can enjoy their efforts!

Thanks a lot for your attention guys!

Hendrik. ♥

Interview #14: Oh, Manhattan

Obviously Post-Hardcore is more then i have thought it is.
This band came into my life and to my luck, i got a new perspective to this genre. Finally i know, that Post-Hardcore is more then just the sceneshit i know, beside some really good bands, where this band definitely is settled to.
Thanks to Oh, Manhattan!

What moved you guys to start this band?
Kodi: It feels like hair metal is reproducing itself in a different form. I, personally was starving for something a little more edgy.
Hance: I actually joined the band after it was formed.. I joined for the reasons that Kodi said. I wanted to play music that stood out just a little.

You're profile says, you guys are playing Post-Hardcore, in my opinion a really melodic and catchy kind of it. Explain your sound a little bit.
Kodi: Post Hardcore has adopted so many different definitions these days. It's gotten so broad that some would consider Attack Attack! to be post hardcore, whereas bands like Glassjaw and At The Drive in would be more fitting.
Hance: We try not not to think about labeling our sound under one specific genre. Not trying to make ourselves sound like elitist pricks or whatever, it's just less stressful when we don't claim one particular genre.

What influences your sound? Any bands?
Kodi: Mostly movies.. but I do enjoy listening to a lot of old indie stuff.
Hance: Well just from a vocal standpoint, I am influenced a lot by Spencer Chamberlain from Underoath. But I listen to a pretty broad spectrum of music. I'm also influenced a lot by my
family and friends and situations that arise in life.

Do you guys think Post-Hardcore defines you guys the most? If yes, explain why. You can also tell us what genres you would also bring together with your band.
Kodi: Yeah, as we played a good bit around the local scene, a lot of our friends seemed to think that Post-Hardcore was a good label for us to fall under. Really though, we just like to play catchy, but heavy music.
Hance: Agreed.

What does your band name mean? Do you guys complain it to something special?
Kodi: The name Oh, Manhattan is a reference to The Manhattan Project, which led to the building of the first atomic bomb. At the time, our old vocalist and I were very consumed by the entire Manhattan Project and all of the people that were brought in to be a part of it.
Hance: Our band explores a lot of different and weird concepts. A lot of our lyrics are about spiritual and emotional struggles, with some political stuff mixed in there along the way. But we never wanna tell anyone which side is wrong or right.. we just present situations in their raw form.. kinda saying: it is what it is, and it's up to you to decide what how you wanna approach it.

Is your guys' sound the one you wanted to play, at the point you started the band?
Kodi: I rarely notice that kind of stuff haha, it's more like a progression, you start with a guitar and a drum set just goofing around, then you find a style you cling to and it goes from there.
Hance: I agree. And our sound will probably progress more as time goes on. So it's hard to say really.

Do you guys spread a message with your music? If yes, tell us, if not just tell why you guys are making music.
Kodi: I believe our purpose is to dismantle what is popular now and create a new curve on which the endless cycle of music will repeat itself upon. I want future generations to be able to look back on our era and say, "oh, manhattan, ya that band was awesome," like i do with my favorite bands growing up and presently like Brand New, Bright Eyes, the Cure and Everytime I Die.

I'm really interested in what bands influence the single members, so what are your favorite bands. In personal or inside the whole band.
Kodi: Lol I think i have listed most of them throughout the interview! But ya Stray From The Path, Brand New, La Dispute, Copeland, At The Drive In, Comeback Kid, Deathcab for Cutie, Every Time I Die, etc.
Hance: Underoath, Brand New, Blindside, Silverstein, Taking Back Sunday.. I also really like a few metal bands like The Acacia Strain and For Today.

What are your lyrics generally about, and where do you get your inspirations?
Kodi: Mostly from movies we had seen or from personal investigations like supernatural vs. super scientific. The id and the inner struggle to determine the natural state of yourself and seeing what moral values stay in tact with the absence of consequence and it truly becomes spiritual warfare.

What are your interests beside the band?
We all do a ton of stuff. Personally, I am involved in the music industry and do booking/promotions and Hance and I do a lot of graphic design work. All of us have
odd jobs outside the band so we can make some money while we're at home.

What things are coming up from you? News about new releases or merch?
September 27, 2011 our debut album drops and we are all STOKED for that. it's been a looong time coming. We will also be posting new tour dates and new merch releases on our Facebook over the next month.

Tell us which bands, shared the stage with you.
Oh, we've played with a ton of cool bands: A Skylit Drive, Woe,Is Me, From First To Last, ISMFOF, Asking Alexandria, Kills N' Thrills, Attila, Thrash n Burn tour, etc..

Would you like to suggest some bands, i should check out? Or just suggest me to your friends, haha :)
Baby, Baby

Where was your sickest show?
Kodi: I'd say playing with A skylit drive and woe, is me in Atlanta. That show was packed out and all the bands were cool guys.
Hance: As far as crowds.. I'd say the same as Kodi. But personally, my favorite show was the first show that I ever played with the band, at a favorite venue of mine called The Movement Venue. There's something fun about playing for people you know.. most of the time ;)

Which bands would you love to tour with?
Stray From the Path, Glassjaw, Thrice, Coheed.

Any messages left to fans, friends or family?
WE LOVE ALL YOU GUYS! and we can't wait to see what's next.

Thanks for refreshing my perspective to Post-Hardcore! Your music finally gave me new thoughts on it!
It's not just the winy crap. It can also be hard as metal!
Also a big thanks for the interview with you guys!

So if anyone of you would like to check out some Post-Hardcore, which finally has such a different sound then a lot of most bands i've heard, then check out The Anti-Da Vinci, i mean check out Oh, Manhattan!!!
Seriously, just do it!

Album: Edge Collapse
Year: 2011
Origin: Ukraine
Genre: Metalcore/Hardcore/Post-Hardcore/Electronic

Tracklist:
will hopefully be posted soon!

These guys from Ukraine definitely make it!
Own sound, that couldn't be more interesting.
When starting to listen to their song "My Hope In The Deep Ocean", you could thing of some Emmure crap. But this is really more of that. It would be a shame to compare these guys with Emmure.
Massive growls sharing the path with some fresh electric riffs, accompanied from some well fitting clear vocals!
Such a sound is pretty rare to find in this area. I can only recommend, keeping an eye out on this band!

Their debut album will be out soon! They are working on it!

Listen to them on their Facebook site.
Or at their Bandcamp site. Singles are also available for download!

Interview #7: Sea Smile

Since good bands are pretty rare to find in South America, i had the luck of meeting another one, which actually have their own sound, which is really great i think. And for me, good music has to be supported, though the tastes from human to human are quite different. But i think will be a few or some more who will really dig these guys. So help me and these guys and show some love!

Meet Sea Smile!

Q: How did the band get started?
A: Our guitarist, Henrique, always wanted a band since elementary school.
Later, he made many friends in search of members for the band, but it was only in conversation and had no all the result we wanted.
Then one day he met Caio [Caftor band] and started playing guitar, learning together.
After, meet Leonardo, a boy doesn't like rock in this time, but the coexistence made him change, and he liked it so much that he began to play bass. So we did a test with two other friends over and the band was then called up, Fight For Life. Did not happen. They tried several times but without result.

Some time later he joined the band Slim, [Pop / Rock] to replace the guitarist had left and it was the drummer Eric (our drummer). Why not be our style of music, the band has not progressed, so did the idea for a new band with a sound proposal more labored and heavy.
Thus came the band Beaufighter, which currently is called Sea Smile.

Q: How would you describe your sound?
A: We play metalcore, melodic vocals with the post-hardcore and breakdowns. We do not label the same sound. We put as metal / rock for each label and classify the band as you like and understand the musical proposal.

Q: Which genre defines your band the most?
A: Metalcore

Q: How came the idea for your band name?
A: The band's name was first Beaufighter, then decided to change because Beaufighter looks like things related to video games, lol, so we decided to put Smile Sea as the sea can be calm and as heavy as our sound

Q: Tell us about your lyrics. What are the themes in it?
A: Our lyrics talk about feelings, try to transcribe what I feel in my compositions, for example, "Bem Vindos" I did when I was a normal day, rushing for work and so on, "Nossos Planos" is a song with lyrics that talks about love, plans a couple, and "Eu Não irei Fugir da Guerra" is a day I was tired of many things, but I can not give up, have to fight, stay focused and fight for the things I want !

Q: What do you want to say with your music? Is there a message to the listeners?

A: We want to show everybody that we all have problems and we are always willing to solve them and move on. When I say problems are problems of everyday life, the sentimental part of each one. There are no band of self-help, but we like to show you how to face and solve our problems

Q: What are your favorite bands?
A: Many! The World Alive, A Day To Remember, As I Lay Dying, Our Last Night, August Burns Red, Of Mice & Men, Miss May I. But do not just hear only Metalcore. Our singer, Erick likes to listen to Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, Pierce The Veil, City and Colour, Jonny Craig, etc.

Q: Where do you get your inspirations, beside to other bands?
A: Our inspiration comes from everyday life, and everything we feel we quote in our songs, I think this is the basic principle to make music that touches the heart and the thoughts of the listener

Q: What things are coming up? News about new releases, new merch? Tell us.
A: We are a very new band, we have to offer is our Myspace, Facebook, twitter, YouTube and other social networks where they can find our pictures, our videos, download our songs for free.
We have plans for the future, record a new EP or even a CD and after that invest more in these media, like CD's, official merch, new pictures, new layouts for Myspace, Facebook and even creating a website!
Soon you will have news about the Sea Smile!

Q: Are there any bands you would like to see on this page in future? Are there bands you would recommend to this site or for taking a listen?
A: Yes, bands from around the world, we want everyone viewing this page and might know a little more about us! We would like every one who reads this interview, send to a friend, to some producer or record company, that really would be a great help to us, a Brazilian band and still little known internationally

Q: What was your sickest show?
A: All our shows have a special taste! Because we are a band with little time on the road (just over 1 year) and started doing a show is 7 months, but we can say that one of our best shows was in a city near São Paulo, Mogi das Cruzes, the show was simply amazing, there's even a video on our channel on youtube that day!
Another show that is in our memories was our first international show, where he shared the stage with an Argentinean band called No Guerra, and other greats of Brazil, was special!

Q: Which bands have shared the stage with you? Name a few. Underground bands are appreciated ;)
A: We shared the stage with some well known bands on the national scene, such as Skin Culture, Alto Teor de Revolta, Sharks At Abyss and now frequently shared with John Wayne, Staycore, Caftor
We played only one international show, with the band No Guerra, from Argentina

Q: Which bands would you like to tour with and how would your favorite tour look like?
A: National bands: Ponto Nulo No Céu, Gloria, Cardiac, Project 46 and our friends, Caftor

International would be endless, but the main ones:
The Word Alive, August Burns Red, Hopes Die Last, A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans, Asking Alexandria, Memphis May Fire, Miss May I, Our Last Night, As I Lay Dying, Of Mice & Men

Q: Any messages left to fans, friends or family?
A: The message we want to leave all, is that if you have a dream, you should go back and never give up. They go in search of their dreams and never let down the people who say you can not!
We're a band with little time on the road and we are eager to keep fighting to get our space, getting recognition
We wanted to thank all friends and all our family who always support us and say that this is only a beginning of a long history of Sea Smile

Interview #4: Across The Obsession

Across The Obsession, are a band of my friend Vlad, from Russia!
He is also guitarist in the metalcoreact Drops Of Heart.
And as usual this is impressive stuff from the Russian-metalscene! Both bands!

Across The Obsession created a new genre of music in my opinion, their are undefinable!
I came up with the idea to ask Vlad for an Interview with Drops Of Heart (which also will follow) and he suggested me to help him out with this band also!
And i keep my promise!

(A bunch of adore-ful guys, playing excellent music!)

Q: How did you get the band started/what were the reasons?
Vlad: originally Across The Obsession - it's my idea. The project originated in 2008 when in addition to main command Drops of Heart I create and record own tracks.
Evgeny: We wanted a break from the music that we play in the main group.

Q: Tell us about your music/sound/style.
Vlad: I'm not sure I can accurately describe the style of our music. But EP-album, which is now available for free download is simple enough in sound and does not carry anything special. Moreover, all these tracks quite old. But we're almost finished work on their debut full-length album, which we hope give a fuck up. This will be in the spirit of the Adept, Architects and Burden Of A Day, but like all other groups, we do not set yourself limits.
Anatoly: We're playing exactly the music that we like, not forcing yourself in any frame. If we want to insert into the track jazz moment - we'll do it without a shadow of a doubt. If we want to insert the electronics, there will be the same thing - absolute freedom of thought. I will repeat - we play for ourselves, not for stamp. And we hope what we like, like our listeners.

Q: Where do you get your ideas, inspirations for the your music's lyrics and instruments?
Vlad: The inspiration we get from life, from everything that happens in it. Whether it's frustration or joy, even any party be a major basis for the song.
Evgeny: And, of course, the inspiration comes from listening to your favorite artists.
Anatoly: I can say that this is happening all at once. The most unpredictable thing that could ever be - an inspiration. Sometimes, sitting three o'clock on the same text, think, imagine, and nothing happens, and sometimes that just at the time of how you eat ice cream you would ever think of fucking idea for a text or a riff and it's very cool!

Q: Tell us about your band name, what does it mean, where does it come from?
Vlad: I have nothing to tell about it. I don't want Invent some history. Just our whole idea I tried to combine in one sentence.

Q: Which bands are your influences? / Which bands are your personal favorites?
Vlad: All groups in varying degrees influenced me. It's like a squashed butterfly from the past. That is, if I ever have not listened to any group, then perhaps there would be Across The Obsession. Something like that.
Anatoly: I was most influenced by Slipknot. It is with them, I became interested in music not only as an object for listening. After watching Slipknot's concerts, I felt an urge to feel at least to a lesser extent myself in their place! In addition I have a lot of favorite bands that are too long to enumerate, but Slipknot - will always remain for me by some "teachers" in this case.

Q: Do you guys have a message, which shall be said through your music?
Anatoly: All that could say - has been said before us. We want to show his opinion on everything that is happening around our vision, what is happening. Our thoughts we will present both direct and in a totally detached, abstract form, to avoid monotony in our compositions.

Q: What things are coming up? Any news on new stuff, such as music, merch, and so on?
Vlad: The first full length album is expected! Merch and others be only after the album's release.
Anatoly: Our album will be cool - is without a doubt! I now just listen for our demos. And I hope the same thing to happen to you when you hear our final creation!

Q: What was your sickest/best show, what’s your dream venue and which band would you like to tour with and why?
All our sickest show will be after the album, and after we find a bass player. And we want to visit all the cities where us want to see! And in their country and in Western Europe. Well, the dream of all teams - is, of course, a world tour, but to us about it and dream is not necessary.

Q: Any messages left to fans, friends, family?
To fans we want to wish is that you have emerged. And they loved us just as we love them! To friends we want to say that they are steep, and they are among the principal, who give us inspiration. And for family want to say thank you for your understanding, which is sometimes wildly missing!

Cheers. Across The Obsession.

My biggest thanks to Vlad and the rest of his crew, for taking the time! Thanks a lot guys

Please help spreading word for these guys! Unexplored talents!

xo. Hendrik!

Promotion #6: Across The Obsession

Origin: Russia
Genre: Post-Hardcore/Instrumental/Metal
For fans of: Between The Buried An Me, Thomas Giles

This band is the side project of my friend Vlad, from the Metalcore band "Drops Of Heart" from Russia.
The project startet under the name "Isolation Theory" in 2009 as solo project, by the guitarist Vlad.
After some genre changes and some new members came in, they finally chnaged their name to "Across The Obsession".
Actually they have some free Downloads at Last.FM, with instrumental works. But after reading in actual line up on their brand new founded Facebook site, i saw there will be some vocals in future too!

Their music is hard to describe and there is no really fitting genre for it. Actually the mainband of Vlad, Drops Of Heart, plays really techy metalcore and on my knowledge i know which bands Vlad actually is loving.
This is something really great and different you should check out! Music from the heart, but also hard as hell, haha!
These guys will bring something great! As usual for the russian metal scene.

Be sure to check them out!
An interview with these guys and with Drops Of Heart will come also!

Cheers! And please, please support and like these guys! You will not regret it!

Review #8: All You Can Eat - Lambs Become Lions [EP]

Album: Lambs Become Lions [EP]
Year: 2010
Origin: Dessau, Germany
Genre: Melodic Hardcore
Rating: 5/5

Tracklist:
1. Lambs Become Lions
2. Sailor
3. We're All Alike
4. Lost Along The Way

>> Download <<

Review:
All You Can Eat are a Melodic Hardcore band from Dessau in Germany. Actually you might think ok, Melodic Hardcore, Modern Life Is War, Defeater, bla bla, BUT!.... their music isn't just Melodic Hardcore, there's a big difference, since the members are influenced by the modern metal/hardcore scene. Time also changes music, so you will hear out that there are Post-Hardcore and Metalcore influences also, which are perfected into the songs, though they are pretty much melodic.
Well balanced breakdowns and melodies brought together with great shouts and clean vocals, which acutally don't sound gay or winy. These young guys know, what they want to play and how they want to sound like and you can really hear out passion!
Sing along and mosh parts in every song and a sound, which can be remained.
I'm pretty stoked what will come up with these guys in future.

So check them out and support them!
Facebook link is posted above.

Take a listen to them:

Take care and stay tuned!
