This album, is complete different, to all of what i have expected from it!
"Hope For The Dying", a band from Illinois, US... in my opinion a band, that should be more known. Their style of metal, spiced with neo classical elements is a pure earcandy. The new album "Dissimulation", migtht bring a new era to metal, the songs don't get boring, though the are quite long. Almost every song has at least one catchy solo part, which fits perfectly to the song. For people who like guitarsolos in general, a masterpiece of modern metal music, and for those who acutally don't like too many solos also a good piece, because while listening, there are many hard part, to bang the head to too. While listening to this, you fall into an addiction, the melodies are too catchy, to skip, and soon as they are over, great heavy parts lead into the next fast or even so slow, yet excellent solo with a classical touch.
The lyrics are as the bands members are, bound to christianity. But actually christs always have a good message to people, as so the music has messages to their listeners. The most important thing is the love to music, and this Dissimulation is a drug! Heavy and from the heart, what already can be heard in the intro song called "Exordium".
My conclusion: This album is perfection! Maybe not for everybody, but a must have for Fans of modern styles of metal and lovers of long guitarsolos, yet HFTD kept the album heavy though. Definitely worth, buying it!!!!!
